gArDnEr ViLlAgE!!!

Last week we went to Gardner Village to see the Witch Spectacular...It was amazing! It is even better this week and I didn't get pictures. Everyone should take a trip there to see how amazing it is. Here are a couple of pictures of Mylie and the Witches!

Bedhead, Climbing, & Wall Art

Well here are some random pictures, but I thought it was due time for a update. Mylie is walking now...touch and go. She can do it just fine, but feels she can get around faster just crawling. Well it is official that Mylie has enough hair to have bedhead. She woke up the other morning with a "wave." She is just cute as ever and we are loving having her around. She has a ton of attitude and a fun personality. We love her. The wall art...well lets just say I was a little bored waiting for Mylie to be done playing in the tub...so I just played myself. I used every Letter -1 because I couldn't find the "T" and every number... Yeah for me....

Sleepless in Seattle....Literally!

Well we are back from our fun filled weekend in Seattle. We went up to the BYU vs. Washington football game on Saturday. We dropped Mylie off to Grammy Friday night and went home to pack. We got up at 4:00 to get ready and head off to the airport. We arrived in Sea-Tac at 8:00, rented our car and drove up to the game. We arrived early, so we went to the Cougar Town party. Anyway, we had a great time at the game, with great seats. I forgot my camera in the car, so no pictures there...Bummer!!! After we won the AMAZING game, we headed to Bellevue for the much anticipated dinner at Maggianos!!! I HIGHLY recommend this FABULOUS restaurant. It was pricey...but SO WORTH IT! If you live in a big city, Vegas, Denver, Seattle, etc...they most likely have one. After we left there, stuffed to the brim, we went to the Mariners vs. Yankees game. It was so much fun. We sat in right-center field and Chris brought his glove to the game because he was determined to catch a home-run ball. Well sure enough Jason Giambi steps up to the plate and he was hitting left, so I turned to Chris and said "Get your mit, this is coming our way." Well I wasn't kidding, he hit a straight shot and it was headed straight for us, Chris jumped up, Got stuck trying to get over my legs, leaned over the guy in front of him and SMACK...the ball hit the inside of his glove bouncing off and landing behind the fence but out of our reach!!! It was so funny...We ALMOST had the homerun ball. We had a good time and a whole lot of laughs that day.

Sunday, we went to visit a couple people in Lacey and Olympia that I taught on my mission. It was fun to show Chris around and how beautiful the state of Washington really is.

Monday, we hit the Pike Place Farmers market. It was a blast. Ate at the yummy bakeries, smell the gross fish markets, but all in all we had a great time! It was a super fun trip and super fast. But we missed our little Mylie and couldn't wait to see her again.

Fun First Birthday!!!!

We had such a great birthday for our little princess. It was a whole weekend of fun, but what do you expect...her mom LOVES to have a reason to party! On Friday, we went to visit daddy at work and had some J Dawgs for lunch. They were really yummy. Then we decided to take Mylie to dinner at Wingers. She had her first kids meal and she was loving it. She ate so much food, I thought for sure she was going to be ill. Bryan came with us to celebrate. After we took her to Toys'RUs so she could "pick" out her own birthday gift from Bryan and naturally she "picked" out a pink and purple T-Ball set. Thanks Bry. We went and played a little rock band with Jenn that night and headed home early to get the BIG party ready. Saturday was so much fun. We invited some of Mylie's friends and a WHOLE lot of FAMILY to celebrate with us. We had a swim party at my parents house and had a bounce house and a hot dog feast. It was so much fun. She LOVED her cake...I finally had to take it away so she wouldn't get sick. Thank you to everyone who came and for my parents for letting me host it there.

1 Year!!!!

Happy Birthday Mylie!!!

I have so many mixed emotions this morning with having a 1 year old. Where did this year go? It feels like I was just barely in the hospital having her, and now here we are a whole year later and so many things have happened. She has grown so much and become such a fun girl with a whole lot of attitude already! Without even being able to talk, you know she is telling you off by holding up one finger in the air and loudly babbling something. It is so funny though. She loves to laugh, which sounds more forced then anything, but it is adorable. She is on the verge of walking, but just wants to crawl instead! She has brought so much to our family and we are so blessed to have her. We love you Mylie!!! Happy Birthday from Mom & Dad
