yep....thats right. she turned 3!

i absolutely ADORE this little girl. she is always so happy. she is pretty dang funny. and she is alotta bit sassy. she is sooooo smart, well according to me. she is the best big sister and is finally learning to share:). she is getting pickier when she eats, but LOVES everything breakfast. she loves to go to nursery now and loves to play with all of her friends. she still sleeps so good and has a good 2 hour nap 4 times a week. she loves snacks. she loves going to the movies. when she goes to time out or gets into trouble she says, "I think I need my Father." she has a serious obsession with her shoes and will NOT share them. she loves to read and wants to look like fancy nancy every morning. she loves mickey mouse clubhouse still. we decided not to put her in preschool yet because it is the first and last time I will have no one in school. she wants to wear skirts and dresses everyday...need to get more I guess... she loves where's waldo books. she has the most gentle heart and knows when you just need a hug. she is definitely a daddys girl.

Mann Family Reunion

For as long as I have been married we haven't met all of the Mann side of the family and finally they had a reunion for 3 days so everyone could get to know each other better. It started Sunday night with dinner, pictures and FHE. Monday started with Hiking the Y, Bowling and Lunch in the park..Didn't make any of those...Monday night was the South Fork Dinner and Games. It was a lot of fun. Tuesday was Thanksgiving point and these are the only pictures that I got from the whole reunion... Tuesday night was 7-Peaks, with Ice Cream to follow. What a great time we all had. Thanks for planning it.

Arizona on a Whim

Chris and I did something that we have never done in the 5 Years of our marriage...We were SUPER spontaneous and took a VERY QUICK trip to Arizona. We had talked about it a for a couple of days and decided no. Friday came around and I talked to Chris on the phone and we bought it up again deciding if we wanted to go and again decided no Chris called back at 12 and said I think we should go...We are leaving at 4. So I packed the girls and the car and the minute Chris walked in the door we got into the car and drove. It got late and we wanted to push all the way to flagstaff....well that didn't happen so we finally stopped in Page. We went to the first hotel and they said they had nothing and they had just called around for a couple just before us and pretty much the whole town was booked. She went into the back and came back and said, "we just had a cancellation..." I was dying. It was midnight and we were exhausted. We slept good, got up and continued another 4 hours. We met up with everyone at a restaurant and MIMI was in SHOCK we would drive all that way for her birthday. We had a surprise party for her on Saturday night, Sunday we went to church with Mark & Kathleen, and had dinner with Jerry & Colleen. We decided to stay an extra day to hit a Diamonbacks game. It was fun to be with family and get to know everyone better. The drive home was LONG with the girls...but it was worth the trip. Mylie and Mimi would read every morning. It was sweet to see them together.
