Fun First Birthday!!!!

We had such a great birthday for our little princess. It was a whole weekend of fun, but what do you expect...her mom LOVES to have a reason to party! On Friday, we went to visit daddy at work and had some J Dawgs for lunch. They were really yummy. Then we decided to take Mylie to dinner at Wingers. She had her first kids meal and she was loving it. She ate so much food, I thought for sure she was going to be ill. Bryan came with us to celebrate. After we took her to Toys'RUs so she could "pick" out her own birthday gift from Bryan and naturally she "picked" out a pink and purple T-Ball set. Thanks Bry. We went and played a little rock band with Jenn that night and headed home early to get the BIG party ready. Saturday was so much fun. We invited some of Mylie's friends and a WHOLE lot of FAMILY to celebrate with us. We had a swim party at my parents house and had a bounce house and a hot dog feast. It was so much fun. She LOVED her cake...I finally had to take it away so she wouldn't get sick. Thank you to everyone who came and for my parents for letting me host it there.

1 Year!!!!

Happy Birthday Mylie!!!

I have so many mixed emotions this morning with having a 1 year old. Where did this year go? It feels like I was just barely in the hospital having her, and now here we are a whole year later and so many things have happened. She has grown so much and become such a fun girl with a whole lot of attitude already! Without even being able to talk, you know she is telling you off by holding up one finger in the air and loudly babbling something. It is so funny though. She loves to laugh, which sounds more forced then anything, but it is adorable. She is on the verge of walking, but just wants to crawl instead! She has brought so much to our family and we are so blessed to have her. We love you Mylie!!! Happy Birthday from Mom & Dad

Bear Lake!

Over the 24th, we joined Chris' family up in Bear Lake. We had never been before, so it was going to be a new experience for all of us. My dad let us take the boat up and we are so glad that we did. We had such a good time. We stayed in a beautiful cabin and enjoyed great company. The water was a little breath-takingly cold...but it was so clear I couldn't believe it. Mylie had a good time and even experienced her first tube ride...hahaha good thing daddy wasn't going to fast. I was waiting for more pictures, because I don't seem to take many, but here are some to get us started.

Walking???

No she isn't really walking, but she loves to walk with everything in sight. This last weekend we were at my parents house for Sunday Dinner, and she grabbed onto the stool and started pushing it around the house. It was so cute... She loves to walk with her new car toy as well... We are going to have a walker soon!!!

Fun Filled 4th....and Lake Powell

Well I thought it was about time I posted some of the festivities of the 4th of July as well as our trip to Lake Powell. The week before the 4th, my family decided to go on a trip to Lake Powell. I was a little nervous about taking Mylie, but she did great! We had such a good time with all of the family and having the kids there was an even bigger bonus. The 4th of July was crazy busy as always. We had a fun family BBQ at my families house as well as the Williams house. After we went to the Stadium of Fire.... and I was thoroughly enjoying it...up until Miley Cyrus...She bored me a little. But all in all we had a great time.
