Hawaii - Day Five

Friday we devoted the day to Pearl Harbor. There was a lot of it under construction...so that was a bummer but we still spent several hours there and learned a lot. It was amazing to see everything. We started with a small movie about how it all happened and how the invasion took place. Then they took us out to the USS Arizona Memorial. It was so neat to see. I couldn't believe after 69 years it is still leaking as much oil as it is. It was awesome. Then Chris decided he really wanted to take a tour of the USS Missouri. It was so neat to see everything. We took the guided tour as well as had a headset and we could listen to as much or as little as we wanted. I am glad we devoted the whole day to this because it took a long time. After we headed north again to the Dole Plantation... and got in for just enough time to buy Coconut Syrup and Pineapple Ice Cream. After we headed to dinner at Haliewa Joe's.

Hawaii - Day Four

Thursday was a very relaxing day. We signed up to take a tour of the JW Marriott and listen to a presentation wanting us to sign up for a timeshare. We agreed to this because we wanted to go to Roy's Restaurant and they gave us a $75 gift certificate to go. Boy was it worth every penny. So we went and toured and it was actually pretty cool. So after we went and grabbed lunch and headed to the beach. Chris and I decided to go to Costco and buy snorkel gear instead of renting some.... the idea was so gross to me.... and we decided hopefully we will use it in the future too. So we snorkeled in the Lagoon at Ko Olina. It was fun....but the water was a bit murky and we couldn't see much. So I sat a lot on the beach reading and I thought I was in Heaven. Later that night we went and got ready for the Evening and headed out to Roy's. It was so good. We got a couple appetizers, yummy entrees, and 4 desserts. 2 came with the meal and we bought one more to try and they brought out another one for our anniversary. Who could even wonder how I gained 8 pound while in Hawaii...... So for all that delicious food we ended up tip and everything paying out of pocket $25 per couple. So Worth It!!!

Hawaii - Day Three

Wednesday we took our time getting ready and headed out for a day at the Swap meet and sight seeing. The swat meet was fun, long, hot, and every booth had the same thing. We walked the whole way around and shortly after wished we hadn't. We didn't take many pictures....but it was fun. We got a couple things for the girls. After we had some lunch and headed into Waikiki to take a look around there. It was busy at the beach... we did a little shopping and headed to sight see a little more. We stopped here for some pictures and after everything I wasn't feeling great so we headed home. It was so pretty.

Mom is going to kill me for posting this picture....but I had to for the memory...While we were at Waikiki beach my mom went to the water shower to wash off her feet....after she was done she went to turn it off and accidentally turned it on full blast and drenched herself. It was HILARIOUS!!!!
