3rd of July Festivities....

Well since Chris got the day off on the 3rd, we decided to start all the festivities of the 4th early. By today, the 6th, we are exhausted and are starting to feel it. We had a great 4th and fun with lots of family. Here are some of the boating pictures we took on the 3rd. We all had such a great time.

Summerfest!!!

We LOVE the SummerFest and attend every year. We do the same thing year after year and can't stop with our routine. We were a little bummed that it was pouring rain and we thought we were not going to make it this year...but it cleared for a couple hours and we made the best of it. We went straight to the sunglasses lady, and since we have gone there for 4 years straight, she knew us by name as we were walking towards her booth. Then we got our wonderful Navajo Tacos and Texas Twisters. NOTHING BETTER! Then went over and enjoyed the parade until it started raining on us again. We thought they would cancel the fireworks so we left and missed them! BUMMER!

My Little Niece was born last Thursday Night at 11:46pm. We were there for the occasion, but no pictures from our camera of that night. We have been by several times since then to see the baby and hold her. We love her so much already. She is so cute! Mylie also loves her as she talks about "baby Lyza" all the time.

Summer Playin...

We have had so much fun with the weather outside the last few weeks. Mylie is so fun and has such a fun personality now. She does the most random things and we just laugh. I love how she is putting words together now and knows exactly what is going on. The baby on the way...well she is getting bigger and Mylie loves her already. She always wants to sit and touch my belly and talk to her "Baby Sissy", (said with a cute lisp). Here are some random but fun pictures.

Mother's Day

I am so behind on my posts...but I had a wonderful Mother's Day. Chris totally surprised me with Flowers and Chocolate Covered Strawberries. They were soooo yummy! We had a LONG day with Mylie getting the flu that day, but now we are healthy and happy again.

Fellow Ozians...

I can't believe that it has been a full month since my last post. I have to apologize to my fellow bloggers who have been waiting for this day for a whole month, I will not let you down and will continue to blog regularly. This month has been so full of different things I don't know exactly where to start. So I will just take it a day at a time and blog little by little until I catch up.

COUSIN SLEEPOVER!!!
A couple weeks ago, we were able to go see the MOST AMAZING Broadway musical EVER, WICKED!!! My parents got us all tickets on the 4th row and they were not even here to enjoy it with us!! THANKS MOM & DAD!! We went to the Cheesecake Factory, and then to SLC for the show. We had great company and a lot of fun! So Mindy came into town to see the show with us and with her she brought Porter and Kamri. So we had a little sleepover with Porter and it was so fun to see Mylie hanging all over him. They had a blast together. They slept in different rooms, not in Mylie's crib. Then they got up and Uncle Chris made some yummy blueberry pancakes, we watched cartoons and then Mylie and I went to Aunt Tahnee's Baby Shower while the boys hung out here finishing the basement.

Hoppy Easter!

We had a GREAT Easter weekend. It was packed with Egg Hunts, Egg Coloring, Lots of Candy, and great company. We got together with the Fitch Cousins at the Sinks house to have our Easter Egg Hunt to kick off the festivities. We made it just before the rain hit, and Mylie knew exactly what to do. She knows where the goods are. Thanks Mary for a fun time. Then we came home and Mylie had a nap, and when she woke up, Chris, Mylie, and I colored Eggs. It was a lot of fun. Mylie had more fun just coloring the eggs with crayons and then putting stickers on them. That night we went and saw the BEAUTIFUL Gracie Jane who was born earlier in the day to our good friends Jake and Karen. Sunday was wonderful as it was filled with church, baby blessings, and family. We love Easter!
