We LOVE the SummerFest and attend every year. We do the same thing year after year and can't stop with our routine. We were a little bummed that it was pouring rain and we thought we were not going to make it this year...but it cleared for a couple hours and we made the best of it. We went straight to the sunglasses lady, and since we have gone there for 4 years straight, she knew us by name as we were walking towards her booth. Then we got our wonderful Navajo Tacos and Texas Twisters. NOTHING BETTER! Then went over and enjoyed the parade until it started raining on us again. We thought they would cancel the fireworks so we left and missed them! BUMMER!

Oh sad, we missed it! Looks like you guys had fun though, and I'm glad you didn't miss the sunglasses lady this year...I think she would have been shocked that you didn't stop by if you hadn't!

So sad we missed it. I love the Summerfest. I remember when it used to be the "Glow in the Dark Parade". Looks like you had a good time though. Too bad about the rain. There is always next year, right?
That looks like fun. I can't believe the people who made that float mispelled 'community'. That's just funny.
