Easter

easter was so great this year. i love having kids that get excited about the holidays. i love holidays. it was pretty chill this year due to the play and graduations, but we still had a fun time. we had a neighborhood hunt, and mylie was one of the big kids. it was fun to watch her actually hunt for eggs and get so excited when she found them. shay slept through the whole thing. 10am is not our favorite time:)

Les Miserables

our cutest up and coming actress mylie was in les miserables with her aunt kayla april 21 - 26.

she had an absolute blast... i thought she was going to get super tired and wear out and bite her nails on stages or something....but she didn't and she was super cute.

the first night of dress rehearsal, they brought her on stage and the fog machine was on and she was waving all the smoke away saying yucky... then she looked around a lot because she loved watching all the singers... then one night when they sang "when the beating of your heart" mylie just kept pointing her finger to her heart... then the last night I could not have been more proud... she finally got it... she looked into the audience and sang along with the cast. it was a special moment. several people afterwards came and said "i saw your cute little girl sing every word to the last song..." like i said SUPER PROUD!!!!

she made some fun friends and by the end she didn't even want me around. grammy and papa fitch came to the show and all the manns were there... it was great. laurissa her newest friend (18 year old) wrote her a note, mylie just looked at it and said mom she spelled my name wrong... grammy mann asked mylie what she was going to do when it was over she said cry... she really loved it and asks everyday to be in more plays...

can't forget about our STAR eponine... kayla did AMAZING!!! we are proud of her too:)

well so it went a little something like this...

my idea for ward party + getting laughed at by most the ward = HUGE SUCCESS and SOOOOO many people!

yeah i pretty much knew people would actually have a great time. we rented out the whole thing and lets just say....we had a blast!
